Los Angeles Lakers Tickets

June 3rd, 2009

Yellow and Purple … Anything comes in your mind! Correct "Los Angeles
Lakers". Purple and yellow uniform may not the best combination in
*sports* but we all know it is the deadliest combination. Los Angeles
Lakers are known for their swiftness and this flashiness now become
their symbol of success. You know why they are known as "Lakers"?
Because they started out in Minnesota initially, that is the land of
1000 lakes. No wonder they play like the flow of water. They are one of
the # 1 Basketball team in NBA. Lakers have extra ordinary brilliant
players as Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, James Worthy, Shaquille
O'Neal and Kobe Bryant. These treasured members of this incredible team
are a grantee to success.

All players of LA Lakers are peerless. They have made history and still
making new records. There have been a lot of controversies about Los
Angeles Lakers too. Like any other team in sports, they also had their
ups and downs. Other teams also beat them, but still they always manage
to have a marvelous comeback after a down phase. Sometimes even the best
players of LA Lakers also have low times of their career but its part of
the game. There are people who hate their guts too, though I wonder why?
Undoubtedly they are the best.

Earvin "Magic" Johnson born in Michigan was fated for fame from the
first day when he set his first step in basketball court at Lansing
Everett High School till the day of his retirement from Los Angeles
Lakers. His playing career is highlighted only and only by winning. His
success started from winning championship at high school level, and from
there he never looked back. It proved to be a milestone for success to
win championships in college, then professionally and finally
internationally. "Magic" became star over night. He led the Lakers to
their championship in 1980 NBA over the Philadelphia 76ers.
Johnson become NBA All-Star12-time in his 13-year career, he was also
named NBA MVP three times, in 1987, 1989 and 1990. Magic was NBA's
unbeaten leader in assists until Utah's John Stockton broke the record.
Number 8 of LA Lakers is another valuable gem. Kobe Bryant was born
August 23, 1978 having basketball already in his family. Kobe Byant's
father was former NBA star, Joe known as "Jellybean". Bryant played for
the 76ers, Clippers and Rockets. At the age of six Kobe's family moved
to Italy as Joe Bryant Kobe's father started playing basketball in
Europe. Bryant's family stayed in Italy for seven years. Living in
Italy, Kobe Bryant learned fluent Italian and also started playing
basketball.

Kobe never attended the college but it didn't affect his game. Kobe
Bryant was a quick learner on the courts of the NBA. In 1997 he played
in the NBA All-Star Game for the first time and till 2000, Kobe Bryant
emerged as one of the basketball's best players. Bryant and Shaquille
O'Neal both teamed up to lead LA Lakers and managed to win three
straight NBA Championship Titles from 2000 to 2002. Now Bryant alone is
leading the league in scoring. He set a team record by scoring 81 points
in a game on January 22, 2005. That is 2nd most points scored in a game
in NBA history!

These black jewels of the team adorn the LA Lakers. The dust of success
will not settle down it will trail more victories.

Tickets Concierge Services

May 31st, 2009

Let's face it. No one likes to go to a sold out show without *tickets*
in hand. Getting scalped is no fun, and can be extremely expensive. On
the other hand, there are some "must attend" shows. Stuff you just can't
miss. This dilemma has been plaguing fans for decades. If not centuries
and millennia. Who knows if ticket less people were denied entry to the
Androcles at the Rome Arena given the hype that the event generated.
Turned out to be a dud event, but that's another story.

Now consider the other side of the picture. Let's say you had *tickets*
to Ben Hur's chariot race. The whole Coliseum is abuzz, but you have to
go to Gaul to deliver a letter. What do you do? Your friends already
have the tickets, or are too fuddy duddy to watch Ben at the races. So
you get rid of the *tickets* at below face value, while some
enterprising broker makes a killing.

In the Tickets business, the broker has always done quite well for
himself. The true fans tends to bear the consequences. Let's fast
forward to modern times and consider a service like E-Bay where a NASCAR
fan who can't make it, may want to sell her tickets. Unlike Ticket
Brokers her life does not revolve around tickets. She sell when she
needs to, at whatever price she can get and move on. Buyers too can't be
guaranteed *tickets* when they need them.

What if there were a service that automatically informed the buyer, via
SMS or email that *tickets* to some sold out show are available. We at
Ticket Nest while talking to our clients saw a crying need for a secure
and inexpensive "connection". All you need to do is fill out a simple
form telling us how many *tickets* to the show of your choice at the
venue you favor. Our software schedules this information and keeps
checking every few minutes, connecting to multiple sources. The moment
it finds the *tickets* that match your criteria: BINGO, you get an SMS.
For the truly hot tickets, you can be the first in line to get the
*tickets* before the riff raff finds about it. Since we are able to
connect to so many sources, we are the likeliest to find the best
prices. The service itself is free, and there is no obligation to buy if
you change your mind.

Best of all there is no need for a hairy guy outside the show making a
killing off scalping. All bloodshed must be decreed by Caesar and need
happen inside the arena!

Avoid Information Overload When Searching For Airline Tickets

May 29th, 2009

No more information overload on travel!

The importance of avoiding information overload when searching for the
cheapest airline tickets online cannot be stressed enough theses days.
This article will explain how you should take your time and do your
research to be able to cherry pick your way through.

What we Internet surfers don't seem to understand is that there are
millions of travel sites out there claiming they have access to the
lowest airfares. When its time to book your travel plans the first thing
we think about is our budget (for those of us who have a budget). Most
travelers don't want to pay more than they have to because they still
need money when they get to where ever the destination is and the more
the better..right!

We all want the cheap flights that are enjoyable, not too many stops,
with food and entertainment, frequent flyer miles, plenty of leg and
elbow room…all for the lowest and cheapest price you can afford….now
that would be perfect dude! Well dream on, unless youre rich.

To avoid information overload and your bottom sticking to the chair, you
start with online sites that not only give their prices but also let you
compare with others. Narrow these sites down to sites that don't waste
your time by having access to just a few special airfares only when the
airlines say they have deals. Everybody has a search engine for
available published airfares, but the best sites consistently offer
specially worked out deals available only to their customers….now
thats what I am talking about maan…..

You have to find a small group of sites that can be searched on a
regular basis…be persistent and start checking for deals at least a
month in advance to be able to take advantage of 7-21 day advanced
purchase requirements. How about sites that have done the research for
you and also provide all the information you need for traveling….I
call these sites "travel portals" and boy do they save you time, not to
mention stress.

Some travel portals list too many sites and its like your starting all
over again. They list any site that would pay commissions instead of
researching and listing those that actually have low airfares
consistently, so try and avoid these kinds of cluttered travel portals
at all costs…they are still wasting your time.

Searching for cheap airfares does not have to be an adventure. Finding
and using travel portals should get you what you need without the sales
pitch. Most of us have a budget and don't want to feel like we could
have paid much less…if an airfare is out there, travel portals will
help you find it……Happy Traveling!

Free Movie Tickets

May 27th, 2009

*This article provides useful, detailed information about Free Movie
Tickets.*

Free movie tickets are among the most popular freebies on the market.
Studios and advertisement agencies free movie tickets as enticements for
increasing sales and profits.

Movie Studios often offer free movie tickets or a free screening of
their new movies. The premise is that it will build up word of mouth
hype around the movie and attract droves of more theatergoers to watch
the movie. For example, when the movie Erin Brockovich was to be
released in Bangalore, India, free tickets were distributed to women on
a first come- first serve basis to organize an all woman screening on
the first day.

Sometimes studios or theatres make arrangements with companies, offices,
or educational institutions to distribute free tickets to their members.
Children in particular are treated to free movie screenings. Some
companies offer free movie tickets as incentives added to their
compensation.

Very often, free movie tickets are offered as freebies when using the
services or products of certain companies. The Internet is swarming with
advertisements for free movie tickets that are given out to surfers who
play particular games, order goods, buying products, or opt for free
trials. For example, the famous chocolate maker Hershey's advertises an
offer in which one must collect 16 points from specially marked packages
of Milk Duds Candy, Whoppers Malted Milk Balls, or Hershey's Bites
Candies to exchange for one free movie ticket.

There' s also a site called FreeMoviePremiereTickets.com. One can get a
pack of 2 movie premier tickets after completing one free offer by the
company. The tickets are paid for by the sponsors of the site who
benefit by the increase in traffic you generate for them. The tickets
are usually shipped in less than three days.

Many offers for free movie tickets end up being scamsFree Reprint
Articles <http://www.articlesfactory.com>, but they are often genuine.
Consumers usually have nothing to lose but time by looking into these
offers.

How To Find Cheap International Flights Online

May 25th, 2009

If you've been shopping for cheap flights online, you have encountered hundreds if not thousands of sites selling
airfares. These sites are made of Mega Online agencies, Airlines, Online
Airfares Specialists, Traditional Brick and Mortar (B&M) Travel
agencies. Not only does this present a huge pool of resource to wad
through it is compounded by the fact that there are international
versions of each of these sources to find cheap international flights.

What is the best way to find a cheap international flight? First it is
helpful to understand how the market for international fares works.
Official "published" international airfares are largely governed by IATA
(www.iata.org), <http://www.iata.org),> a body of all major
international air carriers belong to. IATA regulations forbid the direct
discounting of tickets directly to passengers. IATA prices are set at
high levels and results in all airlines selling at this exact same high
price for international flights.

IATA prices are the most common and readily available airfare prices to
all online and B&M Travel Agencies. This is the reason why you sometimes
see many online travel agencies that have not only the same price for an
airline, but also different airlines all having the same price for the
selected flight itinerary.

If every company has the same price for flights because of IATA, how do
I find a cheap international flight? International airlines have a way
to get around the IATA rule against discounting airfares. IATA allows
its members to offer companies known as Consolidators, airfares at a
significant discount and then it looks the other way when the resellers
pass some of the savings on to passengers. By selling excess capacity at
reduced prices to consolidators, an airline can sell tickets that
otherwise might not be sold. Consolidators then resell these tickets to
some online and B&M Travel Agencies. This results in savings that can be
passed on to you for cheap international flights.

Why Don't Airlines Provide These Cheap Fares to All Travel Agencies
Instead of Only to Consolidators? Consolidators are companies that buy
large quantities of tickets from the major airlines at bulk prices and
resell them at attractive discounts. The airlines deal with a very few
number of consolidators compared to the number of online and B&M Travel
Agencies. Particularly on international flights, consolidator fares are
generally the best discounted airfares available.

Now that I understand how the market for consolidator fares for cheap
international flights work how do I find them? Many online sites for
cheap flights do not offer consolidator airfares. The main reason it is
extremely complex technology to include consolidator airfares in their
online booking engines. Also, many B&M Travel Agencies do not even
search for consolidator fares when you contact them about looking for
international airfare. In 2004 only 4% of online booking engines
contained consolidator airfares. Therefore you must find these sites by
searching for key words which describe consolidator airfares such as
"consolidator, bulk, net and negotiated" fares.

I have found an online site that sells consolidator airfares for cheap
flights, I done my search now? The simple answer is No. Firstly, like
any business online or B&M Travel agencies need to make a profit. They
first purchase the ticket from the wholesale consolidator and then mark
up the price to you for their profit. Different agencies charge
different mark ups which can vary by hundreds of dollars. Therefore, you
should shop around for the best fares because once you find consolidator
fares, different companies will have different mark ups for the exact
same flight.

Consolidator fares will save you between 10 to 70% on international
flights and therefore it is one of the best ways to save money when you
travel.

Traveling Cheap Is Not Worth It

May 22nd, 2009

It's human nature to try and cut corners and to take the best deal
whenever and whereever possible. I'm sure you've heard the expression:
"If it's too good to be true, then it probably is". I don't want to take
that expressions directly in context and relate it to travelling because
it doesn't directly apply! What I do want to do though is point out that
being super budget when you travel doesn't really add up.

Your about to book a trip to your favorite holiday destination. Let's
say it's Cancun, Mexico. You're online, or with a travel agent, finding
cheap tickets, and looking at all of your different options for
accomodations. You're looking at things like star ratings and
facilities, and most importantly prices. At any major travel spot their
is a huge array of differences in accomodations, which equivalates to a
huge difference in pricing across the spectrum. Unless you're swimming
in money, you're probably going to think: I want to get the most from
the hotel and amount of stars for my money.

You take middle of the road: three. Your eyes are dazzled by the stars,
and now you're quickly going throught he list looking for the cheapest
hotel rated three stars. Why? Maybe it's because you're cheap, but most
likely it's just because you're human. You want more, for less.

You've found it. You wait for the time to pass until you embark on your
journey. Flights, airports and taxis later and you arrive at your hotel.
I'm going to pick on all inclusive because it's in those where the
greatest differerence I feel lies within the star rating. When you're
staying at a hotel for a night, and eating out,etc there really isn't
that much of a difference (at least to me), between having marble
floors, and carpet. But when you're at a resort for a week, and the food
is barely edible, the service is non-existant, and you're worried about
leaving you're room in fear of you're contents going missing - the
difference all of a sudden becomes of the richter. The first day is
tolerable, the second and third are working there way steadily down
hill, and by the end of the week it's miserable and you're ready to go
home. You've save yourself probably a few hundred dollars, but instead
of having the vacation of your life and not being able to wait to get
back, you're at the end of your stay longing to be home. Home, the place
you couldn't wait to get out of just a week before.

There isn't many circumstances when a little price difference isn't
justified. If you're going to spend $2000, spend $2500, and a few extra
days when you get back or before you leave. It's worth it; you're worth it!

Get Cheap Car Insurance - Make Getting Quotes Really Easy

May 20th, 2009

When it comes to getting cheap insurance rates, one of the most
important tools you have is information. You need to be knowledgeable
about the steps you can take to help ensure that you are eligible for
the lowest cheap car insurance rates possible. In addition, you need to
know how to locate the companies that offer cheap car insurance and
compare available rates.

Everybody wants cheap car insurance, but, alas, the rates are up to the
insurer. There are many variables that insurers use in determining your
rate, some of which you have influence over and some that you don??t.
Age, for example, is one cheap car insurance factor that you??ll just
have to wait out. However, young or old, you can do things to make you
more eligible for the better cheap car insurance rates.

Naturally, the most obvious is to be careful in your driving, avoiding
accidents and traffic tickets. Perhaps not so obvious is to avoid making
insurance claims if possible. Sometimes, it is cheaper to just pay for
less expensive damage than it is to make a claim, when you factor in how
that claim will affect your insurance rates in the future.

Other ways to make yourself more likely to receive cheap car insurance
rates include use of devices that help to prevent vehicle theft and to
recover it if it is stolen, where you live, as areas with a higher crime
rate often result in slightly higher rate quotes, and your choice of
car. A more conservative vehicle is more likely to have cheap car
insurance than is a sports car.

Also important to getting cheap car insurance is knowing where to look.
With the advent of the Internet, you have the opportunity to get quotes
and compare prices all over the nation. Using that opportunity can
greatly increase your chances of finding the cheap car insurance rates
you want.

Information is a valuable tool in getting cheap car insurance. The
successful consumer knows where to find cheap car insurance and know
what variables can affect rates, adjusting what can be fixed and waiting
out the rest. Collecting the right information and acting upon it can
help you, too, to enjoy cheap car insurance.

Guide to Cheap Annual Travel Insurance

May 19th, 2009

Vacations are for fun, it means leaving behind your job and
responsibilities for a while. Having travel insurance is one way of
putting your mind at complete rest. It's a lot easier to enjoy your trip
if you know that you are covered from luggage lost to sickness.

The further your trip will be, the more you will need travel insurance.
This is common sense, as international trips are costly, so there's a
need to protect your hard earned travel money. So wherever you go, to a
local or international destination, it's very important that you have
the necessary insurance coverage. Cheap annual travel insurance is an
alternative choice for those budget- conscious travelers who are making
more than one trip a year. The main feature of the annual travel
insurance against regular travel insurance is that it saves you money.
For a once annual payment, you become covered whenever you travel during
the year. The terms and conditions vary between companies, but annual
insurance for unlimited travel is also available. Cheap annual travel
insurance provides substantial cost savings than any regular type of
travel insurance.

Here are some tips for choosing your best cheap annual travel insurance:

1. Sign up with a reputable insurance company that has worldwide offices
which can easily be contacted during emergency needs.

2. The insurance company should have a 24/7 customer assistance which is
an essential for international travelers.

3. Always make your office's 1-800 number available to you when you are
abroad.

4. The cost of the insurance should not be more than 10% of your
investment.

5. Read the terms and conditions of the policy to make sure you aren't
buying unnecessary or inadequate coverage.

6. Look for refundable policy, especially if you have the history of
changing your mind too often.

7. A good insurance should cover at least the following:

a. Flight cancellation or delay b. Luggage loss and delay c. Sickness
and accident during the trip. d. Evacuation support during an emergency
situation such as natural calamities

Cheap annual travel insurance is good for you if you take vacations more
than once a year. Instead of taking several insurance each time you
travel, you can make use of a single travel insurance that could save
you a lot of money and time. On the other hand, if you travel less
often, an annual insurance policy is not for you since you will not be
able to recover the cost.
